I started training with Scott after being recommended by a friend. I’d been training with another personal trainer for 10months and wasn’t seeing any results or getting the support I felt I was paying for/needed. I was very lost and felt I would never reach my goals in terms of fitness and weightloss.

I have been with Scott for just under a year and in that time I have lost fat, gained muscle, upped all my lifts and he has changed my outlook on fitness and lifestyle. A very personal PT with a great group of clients surrounding him that support/push each other all the time. I honestly don’t know what I would do without this now.

Working with Scott has been the single best decision I have made in my life. When I started I had very little experience in the gym down to general fear because of how I felt about myself and my appearance and if I’m honest I never thought I would last. From the first day I walked into the gym with him I haven’t looked back and between one on one PT sessions and team DC classes, it’s one of the things I look forward to most in my week. Over the last year Scott has helped show me my potential in so many different aspects of training that I never imagined I would grow to love and to top that off, he’s helped me lose 5 stone (so far!) and I now have more confidence in myself and my abilities than I have ever had. I started training with Scott a few years ago with the intention of trying lose a few(!) excess pounds, but, I got so much more than that. From challenging gym sessions, to dietary advice, to inspiring post workout chats, training with Scott not only helped me meet my goals of losing weight but also improved my mental health and really set me on an upward trajectory.

I’ve been a client of Scott’s for nearly a few years now. Initially, I came in not knowing what I would hope to achieve. I wanted fast results with minimal effort which obviously was not going to happen. Scott helped me to understand the importance of a balanced diet as well as a robust and detailed training plan which was catered to what I wanted to achieve. Fast forward to now and I am mentally zoned into my fitness regime and I’m continueing to work on healthy eating which such an increase of knowledge and this is all thanks to Scott. Everything good in my life has came since 1. I stopped drinking and 2. Started training with Scott, and that’s it.

Scott is such an inspiring person, he has helped me in more ways than one over nearly two years together. He has become someone I can rely on, he’s not just my coach, he is my friend. He has seen me grow so much as a person, I have much more confidence now in myself and with my body.
He has given me a wonderful support system too which I know is always there for me. I love my classes with him and what I refer to as the “fit fam” now. I can’t see my life now without him or this group. I have a much better understanding on food and exercising, he really tells you what you need to know but I’m always learning. He knows when to push you and when you have more in you and believes in you when you don’t. I cannot recommend him enough and I am willing to brag about him at any given opportunity with how much he has been a positive influence to my life.

When I first started with Scott it was after I noticed the huge difference he had made for my girlfriend and decided that I had to get myself back in shape. I lacked confidence and didn’t have the correct technique to perform some of the things that I wanted to achieve, Scott really took his time to coach me through some of the finer details about all aspects of fitness from nutrition to mobility, he helped me learn how to track my calorie intake properly to ensure I was losing the weight that I wanted too whilst still building strength, before I knew it I was smashing personal bests, looking the best I have in years and never have I felt better, mentally and physically. Scott really takes his time with each of his clients and he’s built an amazing community of like minded individuals who all encourage each other to be their best. With my time with Scott he’s not only been a great life coach but a great life coach and someone who I consider a great friend.

The reality was I had tried most fad diets dropped weight and put it back on,  didn’t track my food, didn’t look at my diet and actually weighed 12 and a half stone.  A couple of days later I met with Scott face to face on a lunchbreak and honestly that meeting changed my life as I gained a coach and a friend for life.  We connected instantly and i still train with Scott to this day having achieved and maintained a healthy weight of 9 and a half stones.  I have learned so much about fitness and diet and he has changed my mind set.  He taught me it wasn’t about diets but a lifestyle choice.  Step by step he has led me, always guiding and supporting me to a point in my life where I enjoy my food and look forward to working out.  Watching Scott grow his business and bring his clients together creating the perfect fitness community who all support and encourage each other has been rewarding to be part of.  Scott’s personal journey allows him to connect with clients, promoting the importance of not only fitness but mental health as both go hand in hand.
